Lantz appointed to chair National District Council

East Central District Chair Michelle Lantz, MA, APR was appointed 2009 chair of the National District Council by the society's Board Chair Michael Cherenson, APR. The District Council is comprised of the district chairs from the 10 geographic districts.  Lantz stated, "Serving at the national level fulfills a long-term professional goal. As leader of the council of district chairs, I plan to reinvent the role of the geographic district in an age where physical proximity is less important because of technology."
