Cleveland Metroparks seeks energetic and outgoing people to promote Cleveland Metroparks, by staffing public events, which includes setting up the event booth, speaking to the public, distributing fliers/marketing materials/giveaways, and staging and coordinating interactive games for the public. The Street Team Associate will support various events, including community festivals, street fairs, corporate & organizational shows, and be involved in other Cleveland Metroparks promotional projects. Associate will provide high-energy, outgoing social interactions to attract, engage and educate the public.
Qualifications: Must be a high school graduate, or equivalent, and some college education is desired. Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license. Employment experience in communications, public relations or marketing is preferred. Demonstrated energetic and positive disposition with a strong customer service demeanor. Highly preferred is experience in dealing with large crowds and being able to communicate with, and engage people in conversation.
Wage: $8/hour.
Base Working Location: Cleveland Metroparks Administrative Offices. Work period: May to September, possibly October.
