Get Involved! PRSA welcome's involvement from its members. With approximatley 300 members, the Greater Cleveland chapter is fortunate to have many dedicated volunteers who give their time and talents. However, we're always looking to recruit new volunteers. PRSA offers a number of ways you can get involved, and thus enhance your career.  Options for involvement include: Professional Development Programs—They consist of: Monthly luncheons that provide the opportunity to learn from experts on “hot” topics facing public relations practitioners; Fourth Tuesday events, which are held mornings for the early risers who desire a quick and informal briefing on communications issues; and Seminars that offer in depth education through half- and full-day class sessions. Networking Events—Activities such as happy hours and the annual golf outing provide opportunities to network with your peers and share ideas. Special Interest Groups—For those who’s work focuses on a particular industry, PRSA has special interest groups in the areas of technology, non-profit, and education.  We also have groups for new professionals, independent practitioners, and senior practitioners.  Committees—Committee involvement affords members the chance to further build their leadership skills and develop abilities in areas of the profession they may not regularly encounter in their workplace.  If you’re interested, view our list of committees, pick a program that piques your interest, contact the appropriate committee chair and get involved!
